Personality: Well, for starters, the main part about Kanata is that he isn’t quite demon like as others would think a demon king, much less a ‘Demon God King’ would be is openly friendly, trusting, optimistic, and kindhearted than demons would ever be to many people. While he can be selfish and physically persuasive in situations, he still has good intentions behind them. One would be trying to tell a fellow adventurer to man up and be proud of their own name and Kanata methods was persuade by force aka beat the crap out of him whereas in another situation, his vassal is trying to force him into being a Demon God Gem but every time Kanata wins a battle between them, he allows that vassal to run and hope that they’ll give up some day... and another example would be trying to convince a certain red-headed demon lord to come along with him to an adventure and made a grab her which… turned into a grope. She agreed real quick and Kanata is probably the first and only character to survive that.

You can also say that Kanata is pretty much very outgoing and is a happy person. Given that he was locked up in his room for several hundreds of years, most people would think he’d be a social recluse or just angry for being trapped for so long by orders of his father, but when he was able to taste freedom for the first time? You can easy call it similar to a little kid high on a sugar rush in a playground. He wanted to go out and see what was life outside the palace for everything that it’s worth and he loved every single moment of it and still continues to do so with his dream to go on adventures like he heard from stories.

Another part of Kanata worth mentioning would be that he is naïve. Incredibly naïve. He isn’t really a stupid person but just some common sense things would just go over his head for the most part. Not only that, he also tends to believe nearly almost everything he hears. He almost gets swindled on buying a drink that he believed to have him shoot to level 999 and even trusted his vassal when she tells him that magma, as in volcanic lava, would taste like strawberries… and he wanted to try some one day. When his vassal also tried to explain the concept of “summer vacations” and why it’s important for his workers, Kanata nodded his head in understanding and figured that “Some are vague Asians” are actually needed after all. Yeah. It’s that bad.

Despite how much of a child at heart he is, Kanata deeply cares for his friends and for his kingdom. The main reason why he left the palace is to see not only the world he had to protect should he ever turned into the Demon God Gem which means sacrificing any freedom he had just so his power can be used to protect his kingdom, Empyria, from any drifting objects in the Netheruniverse to fall and land by using his power. If certain conditions were not met in the game, he would readily take up his role as the Demon God Gem for the sake of everyone elses and Empyria and remarks that he had a great time in his ‘adventure’ to everyone in his party before the ritual begins for his transformation.

Evilities: Besides being a very powerful demon, Kanata is gifted with being able to use fire and explosion magic and releasing the power of the art that is painted on his sword called Managraphic. Managraphics are basically mana and souls made into art and applied onto weapons to increase a certain kind of element it’s applied to. In Kanata’s case, a managraphic with his name is applied to his weapon which deals high-fire damage if he releases the mana.

In terms of actually using his magic, they appear in two (as far as I know of) forms.

X-Hex: After a series of fire magic being used, six orbs will appear in front of all enemies and explode one after another.

Blush Mine: Soon after another series of fire magic attacks used after using X-Hex, Kanata will then lay out an entire area of glowing fire orbs like a massive wave and set them off all in the enemy group's direction.

Also like plenty of demons, he is pretty fast and powerful and still growing to become stronger since he had lost a lot of his strength from being a Demon God King to a Demon Dog King. Even with the downgrade, he is still beastly strong and only getting stronger.

The ‘abilities’ equipped that all party members can do in Trinity Universe are:
Level 1: Use Item (able to use items in battle)
Level 2: Panther March (Raises Attack and Defense)
Level 3: Kanata’s Gift (Increases attack speed)
Level 4: Cure: Planet (Restores all HP to self)

Oh right, he is also able to tap on the 4th wall every now and then.

Inventory: Besides the clothes that he wears (obviously), his fan that he totes around, his large sword, and a good supply of magma green tea with soba noodles? He has enough money to purchase a managraphic party for everyone-- well, that is to say, he has roughly around 5,694,906 G.

Notes: Either I‘ve over looked it somewhere or it hasn‘t been written yet, but Kanata‘s current level in the game at this point (since first play through is probably best ahaha) is at level 415. This can be changed if mods wish for it. And if an item/skill/meteorite/weapon list is needed for what status boosts he has is needed, I’ll provide it. o/
